Davis County Fair

The Davis County Agricultural Society has made the tough decision to postpone the Davis County Fair and Ft. Bloomfield Rodeo until 2021.

Our board relies on the kindness of our volunteers to assist in making our fair run smoothly.  Our volunteers largely consist of the population which are considered at high risk to be infected by this virus.  We feel it is in the best interest of our community not to place people at risk.

Our board has been in close contact and working with Davis County Emergency Management and the local Public Health to follow the latest restrictions put in place by the Governors latest proclamation.

We thank you for your past support and hope you will continue to support the Davis County Fair.

We will be contacting the sponsors and vendors in the next couple of weeks.

A note from Extension:

Additionally, as some fair boards are making decisions about postponing fair, you may experience that the board then feels as though they can make decisions about how the 4-H/FFA shows will take place (i.e. deciding to have a "show and go" vs. virtual fair). This is not their decision. Decisions about 4-H/FFA shows belong to the Extension Council and/or CYC.
