Pink Night at the Rodeo July 6th

This year we will be donating $3 from each T-shirt sold during the rodeo to “Team Trevor.”  Trevor Stromgren was diagnosed with Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma in November 2012 at age 3.  He had a tumor the size of a tennis ball on his bladder and hundreds of cancerous lesions in his abdomen.  A year and a half of chemo (7 kinds), 4 surgeries, and 16 radiation treatments, along with 4 months at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas made it go away.  He relapsed with a tumor in his right lung in 2016 and started treatment again at Blank’s in Des Moines.  He had chemo for a year and 10 more radiation treatments.  He was cancer free again in early 2017.  7 months later (November 2017) his lung cancer returned.  He is currently back in treatment at Blank’s.
