Make a Miniature Garden at the Fair!

Davis County Extension & Outreach’s Master Gardeners will be hosting a workshop:

Friday, July 12th from 2-5 pm on the Veatch Stage

There will be supplies for kids and adults to make their own miniature gardens.

We will provide plants and other fun items to put into your miniature garden, such as dinosaurs or farm animals. Anyone wishing to make a garden should bring their own container. We suggest round containers be 12” in. diameter and no larger than 12”x 12” for square containers. All containers need to be at least 3-4 inches deep. Old baskets, small buckets, wooden boxes, or plant pots will work. Containers should have a drainage hole in the bottom. We will have some simple containers available.
