OPEN CLASS SHEEP IMPORTANT NOTICE: IOWA DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE DIVISION All sheep intended for exhibition within the State of Iowa will be considered under quarantine and not eligible for showing until the owner or agent presents an Official Health Certificate stating the animals are apparently free from symptoms of infectious, contagious or communicable diseases as determined on clinical inspection by an accredited veterinarian within thirty (30) days prior to date of entry. Health Certificates covering animals originating outside the State of Iowa must be approved by the chief livestock sanitary official of the state of origin. All health certificates must be approved by the veterinary inspector in charge of exhibition. Sheep must originate in a scabie free area designated as such by the U.S.D.A. Any evidence of foot-rot, sore mouth or any other contagious disease will eliminate the animal from the show.6 Breeds - Suffolk, Corriedale, Hamshire, Dorset, Columbia, Southdown
